hi, been watching this website for a year just never registered.
Was at thunder---no words to describe seeing 8 b-17's flying, and 2 b-24's just there--------------I took the last ride on yankee lady on saturday and got overhead shots with my digital camera of all 8 b-17's lined up on tarmac, if I can post them I will----any interest
p.s.---this is a top notch website!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome, that would be a great shot. Something that has yet to be posted. A bunch of us were together all day Saturday and our pictures are hard to tell the difference between them.

I'm especially curious how you got a photo of eight B-17s on the ground when you were flying in one of the eight.

It was a great show. The Yankee Air Force has every right to be proud of what they pulled together. I hope the show was very successful for them...in terms of helping them rebuild from the fire. The weather couldn't have been any nicer and the crowds seemed large...especially on Saturday.
I can't wait for the DVD to come out.

Didnt hear there were nine b-17's------------Yes I mean 7 b-17's I forgot that I was flying in one---I must have been dreamin, I've never been on a b-17----let me tell you it will take weeks to get the smile off my face
