She's purty! Nothing announced at Stormbirds.com, any flight photos? Is this one still destined for a private owner in Germany?

Too bad I missed it. I spent half of Sunday night sitting and drinking at "The Jet Deck" out at Paine Field when we got back from Abbotsford. I guess I should have gotten over to see the planes before leaving for Charleston.

The second plane is heading for Germany.

Texas IIRC.

I received some small take off and landing shots, but taken from the hangar door they are very poor. I don't have permission to post them, so you'll have to wait fro the site update

The owner of the first 262 is from Scottsdale, Arizona.

It's great to have a two seater AND a single seater now flying. Congratulations to the team!!

The site has been updated and a second picture posted.

I wounder why they don't post any better pictures?

Thu Aug 18, 2005 11:21 pm

They might not have taken the usual inflight photos because the usual chase pilot and plane are still up in Canada. As far as I know. They may have used the back up citation though.

Is the owner of the first one in Scottsdale going to keep it there? We go into KSDL a lot and I can hear it now, Hawker 5RG, traffic a ME-262 two O'clock and 5 miles......... 8)

Cheers,

Lynn
