Wow, that is shocking! Besides disrespecting the remains of our Veterans, that guy has pictures of dead bodies, and photo profiles and personal information on criminals he caught in 1977. That whole link needs to be yanked. Those images are very disturbing! :(

Three words come to mind after I (foolishly) viewed the images:

Insensitive, tasteless, and tacky.

I want to report that link to Google, but there is nowhere I can find to do it. Is there one?

Aologies JDK I forgot to add that to my original post and thanks for doing it.
If you look at the bottem below each picture theres a link to report it but not sure if you have to sign in to do that. I didnt go through his whole collection just was curious about the hellcat remains and I saw the pics..

Thanks, you don't have to be a member to report abuse. On the side of the picture is a "report abuse" link. I've used that on several of the pictures. In addition to what JDK mentioned, there are very graphic close-up pictures of a dead body from someone who committed suicide. Why is that crap on the internet? It serves no useful purpose, especially if the family were to see it. The person's name is there as well, and it WILL pop up in a Google search. I know I would be devastated to see a family member's bloody, torn up body on the internet.

Please, everyone use the "report abuse" button on all of the pictures you deem offensive.

I think those pictures showed what a Park Ranger actually did in those days. They were 40 years old. Times were different then. As far as posting that kind of thing, you need to look around the rest of the internet. Nothing shocking there to me.

For the Hellcat pilot's skull (assuming that is what it is and it survived a crash impact in that great a shape). Putting the Ranger hat on it was tasteless, but you need to document it as evidence that was recovered and you need to pick it up. Keep in mind a Ranger is a law enforcement officer, Lets say some of this ended up in court (without photos) and they asked him WHY he didn't take the pictures??? His answer, "they may offend someone".... You guys need to spend some time around real a REAL CRIME SCENE (I was a lawyer) to see what it really looks like.

Overall, they were pretty interesting, got a good idea of how UNSAFE old cars are. I also got to see a Husky and FH-1100 in action. A few pictures that were objectionable (disrespectful is probably the best word), but overall, not bad.

Sorry, but you guys are a bunch of busybodies IMO.

Why would you post that warning here, in effect publicizing those photos? You are inviting people to see something that you find disturbing! Thanks a lot buddy! Aren't you better off just leaving it be so fewer people are aware of it? You can always just report it yourself and move on.

As for the skull, I think that kind of gallows humor was more acceptable in 1970, especially amongst law enforcement. Is it really any worse than hanging a lab coat on the skeleton in biology class? When I was in high school the skeletons were not made of plastic.

Looks like many of the other photos mentioned were already removed by the time I got there.

Feel free to PM me your hate mail.

"WAS?" Don't kid yourself. If you work with some of the crazy stuff you see in law enforcement or similar and DON'T develop a bizarre sense of humor, there is something wrong with you.

I can't wait for the next warbird related postings, like forensic photos of airline crash victims...

I agree, there is far worse on the internet. It's all pretty interesting, the days in the life of a Park Ranger, as my wife's cousin was a Ranger as well.

That is a great pic of the PB4Y-2. What shame it was scrapped!
