Hey friends! I just had a quick few questions to ask of the gang on here regarding donations, etc. For those who don't know about my project, basically I am trying to raise the funds necessary to obtain a P-51 Mustang (project, flugwerk kit, or flyable) for our museum in Geneseo. Recently, we decided to aim and make the P-51 acquisition a tribute to a local Tuskegee Airman whom was lost in combat, Leland H. Pennington. I have made contact with the family and am really making headway in establishing my fund's identity, however, I am wondering how others in the warbird area have gotten their word out their and gotten exposure to the general public. I now have a paypal donation system set up online (https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/websc ... 2818e091d0) and am working on a blog as well. Any ideas as to what to do next? Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

Not to be tooooo cynical, but my next thought would be to find the guy who wants to fly one and had the money to help feed it locally. After all, it's likely to be restricted to that pilot or pilots anyway, and you might as well get him to be the major investor...
