Not Arkansas, but it just so happens Texas is the Warbird capital of the World. (Ducks for cover) Thats decently close...

Addison-Cavanaugh Flight Museum
Ft-Worth- Vintage Flying Museum
Dallas- Frontiers of Flight
Lancaster- CAF DFW Wing
Midland- CAF HQ
Houston-CAF Wings
Galvaston- Lone Star Flight Museum
etc. etc.

Not to mention a couple other "modest" private collections.

You Texicans, always the jokers!

But there is more than the casual interest of finding warbirds to go see behind my question.

Let's see, we've got the CAF T-33 at West Memphis Airport and the CAF Seafury, two privately owned T-6's and a Stearman at Dewitt Spain Airport. That's pretty close to Arkansas. ;)

Hey there aren't many, but check out the Aerospace Education Center just outside Little Rock National Airport. I drive past it every day, never been in but know they have a fully restored Sopwith Camel, Cub, and Jenny inside as well as some other goodies.

Hope that helps,

You guys do this just to annoy me don't you?

Here is a list that could be used as a starting point for discussion...
ImageAerial Visuals Locator Search - Arkansas
...and scroll down for the map.

Let me know if anything should be updated. Updates can also be handled through the links on the site as well.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.
