Please tell me more...is this a back shop job, or out in the hangar? I quit my SRP position with AA at AFW (on good terms) in early 1998 to go to Delta...do you think they would hire me back? What is starting pay now? BTW, is Borek Janku (supervisor) still out there?
Thanks, Pat

Borek is gone. It may be backshop, I don't know. Starting pay may be on the website.

Thanks B29, oddly enough, a mutual Facebook friend, "Buck", directed me to your FB page where you made mention of the fact that AA was hiring. I recognized you by your avatar. Anyway, I did the online app a few days ago, but saw no mention of pay.

Here is the notice we received.

AFW AMT New Hire Pools – With the last of its AMT/OSM positions being reassigned to full AMT positions, AFW has exhausted all of its recall and transfer lists and is now looking for new hires. The base has AMT and OSM new hire vacancies. Hundreds of applicants have expressed interest. The screening process is now underway. If you know any interested applicants, please direct them to register on www.aacareers.com in order to apply. Applicants may also attach their resumes. The application process is all online – no resumes will be accepted directly. (M&E Staffing Steering Committee)
