Same here. I also like the way he tries to keep his replies on a professional level.

The B-52D camouflage consisted of flat colors of three shades of green on the top and gloss black on the undersurfaces. the NMUSAF used incorrect gloss colors on the uppersurfaces of the B-52D that is on display in currently in Dayton.

The point of my post was to indicate that I see positive things happening at the museum compared to years past. I don't have a T shirt to prove that I was in the military, but I do have a card that gets me into the VA medical center when I need help with my service connected disability that caused me to get discharged before my military career was over.

This will be my last post on WIX, I love the subject matter discussed here, but the pettiness is maddening.

Greg, I was hardly being petty by stating that I saw "gloss" camo B-52's in Thailand. We all like things to be 'correct'. One thing I have discovered over the years is that the "book" isn't always correct. There are numerous examples of mods and paint work that do not match the official schemes for many reasons. I was an aircraft painter in the RAAF for a time.

Cheers
