All--
Forgot to mention that I sidetracked to Lindsay on the way back from Ottawa yesterday, to see the CF-101 Voodoo at the airfield there. 101002, ex 416 (Lynx) Sqn CF; still lettered as an ABDR trainer. IIRC it was acquired (from CFB Borden??) by the owner of the field as a kind of RCAF memorial. Also IIRC I recently heard it might be moving to the Ottawa area. Any news?
(Resisted the temptation to go up Hwy#48 to try seeing Al Rubin's collection at Markham. The Voodoo was good enough...)

Yes,
I heard it was confirmed the Lindsay Voodoo was moving to Ottawa. This came from Jerry Vernon & Jeff Rankin Lowe.

Is that the replace the one at Uplands that moved to the CWH in Hamilton, or will it go elsewhere in Ottawa?
Seems like it would have been simpler to leave the one in Ottawa and move this one to Hamilton!

That has been mentioned before. However I would suspect the Ottawa Voodoo was in much better condition. After all, once you get it on a truck, then the driving time is nothing compared to the extra restoration time of a deteriorated airframe.
