I am looking for a company that rebuilds hoses and still uses original AN crimped ends. Hose assemblies are AN855 and AN856.

Are you positive they are crimped?
Are these low pressure or medium pressure assemblies.
If you use a mandrel have you tried to disassemble the top with the female end?
I have seen crimped ends but they didn't have a hex as part of the shell.

AN855 and AN856 were both canceled in May of 1949 and superseded by AN6270.

They are low pressure hoses.

I seriously doubt that anyone still makes these fittings. Even if you found an old stock of fittings, you might never find the dies to swage them. Furthermore, you can't use the AN specification to make the parts. The specification only gives interface dimensions, not internal dimensions which were the responsibility of the fitting manufacturer and were qualified through testing.
