Thanks Pinot12
I will scan all the negs in the 14 file and email them. As to doing the 360 or so of the Lodestars, Venturas & Hudsons, that would take me over a week, at the rate I get them scanned in. Recently took me over a week to scan 200 Beaufighter negs (because there is no sense in scanning them, if I don't index and list all the id info, as I go...) and I place and adjust each neg on the scanner plate by hand, then adjust scanner for best image of each neg...Slow process. (AND, of course, getting other work done at the same time.)But you are sure welcome to stop by, anytime you are in the area.

Jordon;
That is an -18, note the horizontal in at the top of the fuselage and it is also a bit long for a -14. The was some interference that caused a tail vibration when the -14 fuselage was stretched and the solution was the raise the horizontal a foot and put a fillet at the training edge of the wing. Most of the fillets seem to be removed now days.
Where is this? Is the airplane still there?

, Back in January 1970 I was a Sgt. Air Training Corps cadet and attended an aeromodelling camp at Camden, S/W of Sydney. Camden had been a RAAF Base during WW2 and even to this day there is an ATC camp there (although the buildings have been replaced with new ones since I was there as a cadet. Now they have air conditioned sleeping quarters and classrooms.) Camden has now been a civilian airport for many years and on that occasion we were treated to an Adastra Airways Hudson landing there in that quiet stillness just before a thunderstorm. The aircraft was engaged on geo surveys of the surrounding valley looking for minerals (mainly coal) and coal is now mined not too far away from Camden. We were quite a few hundred metres away from his touchdown point but because of the stillness in the air we watched and heard him touchdown on the main runway.
Cheers,
Ross.
