I recently inherited two insignias from the fusilages of WWII aircraft. The first is a blue shield with yellow arrow believed to belong to the Luftwaffe III./SGK10 who flew FW 190 aircraft from North Africa in 1941-1943. I'm looking for any photos, art prints, or model planes with this insignia on the engine cowling.
The second insignia is that of a crude black wolf's head with tongue extended, with a white background in a blue circle, believed to be from the French Lescadrille SPA 79 squadron. It is reported to have been from a French transport plane shot down in North Africa in 1945. Again, any photos, model aircraft, prints, or information as to the type of aircraft it was on or the auadron itself would be helpful. I will post photos of both insignias later this evening.

Thanks.

Jason
