The family and I were coming back from a trip to Toronto on Thursday the 17th of March when I came across a large tractor trailer with 2 chase vehicles on HWY 401 transporting a set of blue shrink wrapped wings Just west of CFB Trenton. I can't tell what they were from but from the outline of the shrink wrap it sees that the trailing edge needed some work. They seemed to be a sweep angle similar to a Sabre but thicker at the root.

Just curious where they came from and where they were going to...

They were going eastbound. Just west of Trenton. I didn't see them after Trenton so maybe you are correct.

After looking at a Hudson picture I can see where I thought that the trailing edge would need work. The Hudson had those unusual trailing objects. It would appear that you are correct.
