This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Other than WIX, where do you hangout to talk warbirds?

Good question Oscardeuce.

I've looked at the Planes of Fame forum a couple of times, but it doesn't seem to get to much action. I also like Pacifwrecks.com's forum, again not as much action as here but pretty interesting.

I agree with Mike...Martin, you've got way too much free time on your hands!

Lurk Flypast (Just a wee ostentatious for a simple colonial like myself)

Tried Hyperscale recently--was favorably impressed

I use 'Wings over Cambridge' and I occasionally post on Flypast but I usually have a look (read lurk) semi-regulary, its a bit too "old boys club" for me. The atmosphere on WIX is much more to my liking, there have been the odd " what the h*ll is he on" moments but they are delt with pretty smartly.

I've got to agree that the Flypast forum seems to digest itself every couple of months. It's grown rather stale and could use an overhaul.

Martin,

HOLY COW...you do get around. I can barely keep up with goings on here let alone with the effort you put in on other sites. I do occasionally post and read up on things on the Key Publiching site for Flypast...but just don't ahve the time....Kudos for your efforts sir.

Yes Dan, as BlackWolf said, give it a while and you'll see the JMNs emerging out of the crowd, ruining your HS experience!

Geez, you two must go around and tell kids there's no Santa Claus! :P

So what you're telling me, is that if I were to choose between paying either Hyperscale or my proctologist a visit, I should choose the latter.

(Hmm, let me sit on that one for a while...)
