I saw a big turboprop today, looked a lot like a Convair 580. Had natural metal wings and large dark letters on the side but I couldn't make them out. Top color looked like it was white with a darker color striping. Sound familiar to anyone?

Well, he was all alone up there. More like a time trial, but he was't going anywhere near 200 mph. I don't think he is going to qualify unless he picks up his speed around the course.

Airnutz,
On Monday evening, the T-33 was doing touch and goes, the F-100, A-4 and the F-4 did a couple formation passes and the UH-1 had a camera crew filming. On Tuesday afternoon, Colonel Bud Day got tto fly in the F-100 after the roll out once the weather cleared. During the Monday evening flight, all the aircraft listed where all flying at the same time. Nice job Rick, that was a great display. You and the houston volunteers did a great job.
