The nice thing about FlightSim, is not only can you pull yourself out of retirement, but you can bring friends as well!

Hey guys,

Some nice pictures shown so far :) I chose to fly the Il-2 Sturmovik flight sim ( purposely made for WWII birds) and for the last three years I've been the leader of the Virtual Horsemen. We are lucky enough to be sponsored and supported by the real team so i figured I'd post a few pics :)

@Nathan... Go to Vatsim if you want to fly online in a real airspace http://www.vatsim.net/ They have all the info you need there.

Viewpoint difference because I was in the back seat (with full dual controls) of the real P-40N.

ImageThis what got me started on FS9. I've flown in a P-40 and Spitfire, my chances of flying in a real F-104 are slight.
This the "Cloud9" F-104, a paid download, very realistic (I will kill you real fast if screw up). It has random real type failures crop up,
and if you exceed various limits and V speeds things break or jam and you have to deal with it. This thing killed me so many times learning to fly it I was a Soviet ace several times over.Image
