I need support in a special story.

1946 was the 406 FG based in Nordholz Germany. The Mission was the protection of the only US Harbour in Germany. In the same year the 406th FG became the order to return to the states, but the P-47 have to stay there, they are to old and the future visit Nordholz also in this year, a P-80 landed on a traffic flight to Bavaria there.
1994 visited the 406th FG Association Nordholz on a Reunion tour, where I met the Pilots of the past and they told me the story of "her" Thunderbolts. As they brought to the trench of a underground train track and pushed them into this hole.  More then 22 Thunderbolts and all other stuff of the airfield was disposed. The hole Airport was destroyed. In the 50s came the new NATO Airport and the burial area is untouched till now.
It's possible in cooperation with the officials to dig this stuff out, but it need two requirements.
The acknowledgement of the 406th FG Association (I tried to reach them and the 406th FG Archives in the Pima Air and Space Museum over years, but sadly without response.)
And a American partner to bring back home this historical treasure.

Lots of story's like that, we had a P-61 pilot describe the same thing, only 1 P-61 from his squadron was returned to The States, all others being being pushed into a big hole and buried. It would be nice to be able to find these aircraft and bring them home someday.

Unfortunately as seabee said, there are loads of story's like that , 99% of which are false. You would need a fair bit of evidence (photo's are very good) to get support.
Good luck, but be prepared to be disappointed by the lack of support.
Unless you have concrete proof, in which case you'll be inundated with offers of help to recover 22 P-47's !

if people do shows about tighar, then how hard is it to get some cash from a documentary company, do the research, get a cheap ground penetrating radar, and checkout some of these stories.

Yep, there are lots of those stories, and most prove to be myths; nevertheless, if investigation is permissible and feasible, surely it's worth a go.

Plenty of folks pooh-poohed the recovery effort that led in time to the restoration of P-38F "Glacier Girl"...especially when the B-17 found first turned out to have been mashed flat by ice movement. Nobody pooh-poohs the project anymore, of course, and indeed there have been additional efforts posited to go after more of the Lost Squadron aircraft...

First off, who are you and where are you? You don't have to be specific, but some info would be good otherwise you are just another Spammer or former WIX participant who was shown the door once or twice.

I have nothing add beyond huge hope that it could possibly be true!

hey, I'm knowing, that there are a lot myth about buried aircraft’s, but this Story came from Veterans of the 406th Fighter Group Association and a German eyewitness.

Nordholz Airfield was really special, because it was a small US Area in the British zone for protection of the Bremerhaven harbour.

On Nordholz airfield was a small underground train track for the storages installed.

The entrance of this storage was 15 meter deep. I have a lot of aerial Pictures, where you can imagine the dimensions and a picture of the entrance.

They pushed the P-47 and the other stuff into the cutting, that was made for the train track to come to this deep level.

If you don't believe this story, please ask the last veterans of the 406th FG.

The area is still free since this time. The Official and the Museum in Nordholz are interested to clear this circumstances. Test digging also! But it need a acknowledgement of the silent 406th FG Association.

Why do you so desperately need the involvement of 406th FG Assoc.? Is it a confirmation (Bestätigung) [of the aircraft's location?] that you are looking for, rather than an "acknowledgement" (Kenntnissnahme)?

What do the land owner (Bundeswehr; Marine) think of this project? What does the plethora of other German bodies (Polizei, Umweltamt, Kriegsmittelräumungsdienst, die Grünen, NABU, BUND etc.) that always tend to have a say in everything related to aircraft in this country think of this? I should think that close contact with these people would be somewhat more helpful for this project....

The grammar and syntax errors seem a little off-not quite the same as those I've seen made by other Germans (assuming he is one) with a basic grasp of English.

This would be really, really cool.
