earhart dna in a hermit crab shell, exprerey dna in a mollusk, lucky lindy, the wright bro's.. it doesn't matter how long your gone if your on the corporate radar screen. pics, videos, tee shirts, what have you.... they all have copyrights. while most of these aviation icons are long gone, their families are ca$hing in on their fame. long dead movie stars , aviation icons, historical, marylin monroe, on & on are making more money being dead than alive. corporate greed?? who knows?? if john wayne was my uncle i'd probably stake my claim too considering these tough economic times. money talks, bull crap walks bottom line.

elvis , micheal jackson, any past u.s. president's fame are all financial entities. look at all the photo pirating on wix & the pissing contests that follow!! everything right down to a novelty keychain has a copyrights & royalty rules. the 3 stooges, the cast from gilligan's island would be trillionaires today, but nobody had the $$$$ sense in those days for those people to benefit from their hard work. i can't even buy a copy of 1 one of my own magazine articles on line with out paying for it!!
