Here are a few pictures from the air show today. I ran into Zane there and he told me that he managed to find a stow away spot   on Fat Albert during the air show and get a ride. 8) Lucky dog!!! Glad he got chose to go on the flight. Way to go Zane!!

I got there early so I was able to snap a few shots before the crowds showed up. I'm not a photog and don't have a fancy camera so please excuse the quality.

Wipin' down the Wildcat so she looks pretty for public.

It was a nice treat to see the SB2-C Helldiver there!

I loved the retro paint scheme on the EA-6B Prowler!! What a cool way to commemorate the Centennial of Naval Aviation.

Another cool treat was seeing Attu Warrior there.

I understand that tomorrow they will be commemorating the 70th anniversary of the first flight of the B-24 by having Ol' 927 taxi out and take off from the Lockheed plant (formerly Convair) on the other side of the runway. For those of you in the DFW area, I also hear that Fifi will be doing a flyby of the airshow around 10 am before landing at the Vintage Flying Museum at Meacham. She'll be staying with us for a week or two until she starts her next leg on the tour. They are working on the runway at Addison airport and with the shorter runway, Fifi is unable to take off so she'll be staying with us occasionally in between tour stops for the next few months until the runway work is done. It will be awesome to have a B-29 parked in our hangar which was a B-29 maintenance hangar up until the 1950's.

Was a great airshow. The Blues looked sharp. Any word on what happened with Number 4? Was rare sight to see a 3 bird diamond.

Scott is looking for info on Sabreliners over in the warbird registry section. Your photos might help?

Turnout was pretty good, primarily due to the Blues being there. Crowd estimates were over 100,000 per day.

I got there early and snapped as many pictures as I could before all the crowds showed up and got in the way. By the afternoon there were a lot of people there. Thanks for the compliments on the photo's, it's my pleasure.
