With a pretty airplane.

There was a Garmin seminar on some new avionics, and they had La Pistolera in the corner. It was pretty neat, as is the new Garmin GTN unit.

Only thing I don't care for is the polished prop... otherwise, it looks GREAT in that postwar TF scheme!

I love it!
I don't mind the polished prop, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned the tall tail. Again, it doesn't bother me.
There should be more Mustangs in post-war markings. I liked Frank Borman's scheme from a few years back.
I wouldn't even mind one in 50s RCAF markings with red arctic trim...especially since a lot of Mustangs on the civil register spent more time in Canadian service than the USAAF/USAF.

To be honest with you, the Mustang was pretty nice, but I
was there for the Garmin stuff. The new GTN unit is pretty amazing.

I think John B is talking about this one: R. I. P.
http://www.warbirdregistry.org/p51regis ... 84850.htmlThe TF has worn the same scheme since rebuilt except name change.
He used to own two of them.
