2005 Wine Making

This is my 3rd year making wine from grapes. I order them from California and pick them up at a local produce store. Here are some shots from the first batches. We received Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Barbara.

So at what point do you stomp on 'em?

No stompin - the STainless Steel Machine (Crucher-Destemmer) does all that work in a few minutes with out any pain (or at least no pain after the bill is paid for it).

So far no names for the wine, My guess is that the Beer can be aviation related but the wine will not be, one must choose battles wisely.

This won't be ready for about a year, so maybe next Nashua. I have yet to bottle last year's wine, a bit behind. But that will need to be done in the next two weeks. I have to free up the carboys so I can press and start aging the new wine.

After finishing up bottling last year's wine Just putting them into boxes seems like a great idea.

It looks like the final count is 210 bottles of wine.

And we are making a bit more this year.
