Actually, I think it'd be cool to see these two stay as tankers and Neptune take one or two of it's oldest aircraft and "restore" them to warbirds as a fitting retirement. :)

I believe restoration to flight is for transport only. 1 machine is to be a parts source and the 2nd to become a crew trainer.

The old Evergreen P-2's have some bad corrosion, It was found to be not worth fixing for Evergreen so they were parked. But that was then and this is now, and there are still a few clean airframes left to tank out there. But with the way the Forest Circus runs things there will be a forced retirement of all radial engine tankers one day, So for Neptune Aviation to spend a million and change to tank a new Neptune and bring it up to speed will be pretty risky.
