I'm afraid that's not true.

Hartland Molson was born on May 29th 1907.

The station commander of RAF Northolt during the Battle of Britain was AVM Stanley Vincent, who was the only RAF pilot with confirmed victories in both WW1 and WW2. During the Battle of Britain, he regulary flew a Hurricane into battle and scored 2 victories in September 1940.

Stanley Vincent was born in 1897.

And even older, but on the German side, 'Onkel' Theo Osterkamp flew combat missions, scoring at least one victory during the Battle to add to the one already scored earlier in 1940. This added to the 32 victories he had in WW1.

Osterkamp was born in 1892.

Ollie,

Im sorry, but there are so many of those "few" ...
Indeed, Hartland de Montarville Molson, joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939 and was wounded during the Battle of Britain.

Cheers,

Amado

Should have said oldest CANADIAN pilot to take part in the Battle.

And as for the Germans, I don't really care, we won.
