The Colonel should be the WIX AirShow Announcer

Mon Sep 12, 2005 10:05 pm

As I stated in another thread, I attended the NAS Brunswick air show this weekend. It was a little thread bare. BUT, the Worst part of the whole thing was the ANNOUNCER! He was as clueless as to aircraft, current and past and their history as any three people could possibly be. My 10yr old son(some of you have met him and you KNOW he studies HIS lessons8))would have made a better narrator. SO, WITH THAT IN MIND, I'm putting forth the idea of making the COLONEL the official WIX Airshow Announcer. Lets face it, he knows ALL the planes Personally. And their personal histories. And their Skeletons in their closets. And can't you JUST IMAGINE, the COL. is narrating the flight demo," The Pilot will now perform an Inverted Immelman, breaking into a Backward Cuban Eight and..............
Oh BLOODY H3LL Thats NOT the proper way to do IT!!! Oh, go bore holes in the ground, SEE IF I CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", " OH, and by the way, DON'T go breaking a perfectly good WARBIRD, or I'll sic YOU KNOW WHO, on your F______G ARCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Personnally I think that would be far more entertaining then the Idiot I listened to on Saturday!?

Personally, the Russian @#!$@%^&'s are my favorite! Ya, Ken, I know this opens up YET ANOTHER CAN OF WORMS!, but, I just can't help myself! Besides, even on a BAD DAY, I'd rather listen to Rob, then the IDIOT 12yr old who was announcing at BNAS! What little he may have known about aircraft and aviation was more then made up for by his general lack of understanding AND knowledge of history(must make a note to FIRE script writer!) But, on the other hand, we DO have to deal with Rob on a more permenant basis..................................
