I'd like to see the video. A guy I worked with saw it too but we couldn't find the video on the net. If somebody has a link please post it.

Why would it qualify here? It doesn't have a thing to do with warbirds!

I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to say... what the hell does this modern day weapon system have to do with a WARBIRD forum ???
Why cant people post clearly obvious stuff like this on a non warbird forum really...... If not put under military...not a main channel area... as it totally irrelivant.
Moderators are not enforcing the rules....so people keep doing what they like it seems.
Seriously how hard is it to see this topic here is warbird... whatever a switchblade is Tom, it SURELY aint a frigging warbird mate - the way you described it is a ground weapon?? where is the warbird in it?
All too hard for me to understand.
I come here to see information on propeller jets helicopter cargo warbirds

the damned thing flies period, it applies to war today. it could go in the military or model threads as well, that's why i started the post to the mods to move it if they felt it was neccessary. honestly i don't why some people on this board have to start a pissing contest over an issue that is so miniscule as to which thread i chose. the issue is so petty & piss ant in nature that i can't believe i'm wasting my time with the 2 or 3 dumb assed replies. i simply brought out or conveyed a new inovative system that applies or will apply to warbirds, & for the record i've never done as i've damned pleased on this board since joining in 2004. whip me with a wet noodle & pick your real battles rather than lamb baste somebody who was trying to contribute something positive.

Thank you for those charming words. May I remind you to the forum rules:
Rude/Disruptive Behavior - Rude or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. This is a friendly place and people are entitled to thier opinions. But express them diplomatically and politely. Since rude or disruptive behavior can be a vague definition I will PM you ONCE asking you to chill, if you continue then a 14-day suspension will be necessary.
I suggest you stop the absolutely uncalled for vacabulary. As for your post, this is the WIX hangar. It is for warbird, and WARBIRD only discussion. Your post has nothing to do with warbirds and belongs in the "military matters" forum. If you have to ask "mods........ move this if you want but...", you clearly know it doesn't belong here. If everyone acts like that, the mods would be flooded and this place would go downhill VERY fast.
As for the "the damned thing flies period" comment, so does a cat if you kick it. Doens't mean this is the place for posting cat pictures

if my vocabulary was harsh any words would have been changed by the filters which are incorporated automatically. honestly boys, i have no beefs with any of you, but i'm a little insulted that such an issue would be made over something so petty as to my choice of a category. i've been a member of this board since 2004, i've rarely stirred up a beehive, have always respected the rules, & never called anyone a derogatory name, nor insulted anybody's opinion, & i pride myself in being civil, it's the gentleman's way to handle things. i tolerate alot more on the importance scale daily running my family's 50 year old business interacting with others than this issue. lastly, since 2004 i've never been booted, banned or disciplined on this site & i know the rules & don't need nor deserve having my intelligence or my integrity questioned by having the rules quoted to me. i'm very disappointed at the replies thus far to to this post which i thought was relevant. the mods can scrap it for all i care.

Hi Tom,
I have no beef with you either. I know how much you contribute. But lately WIX has been flooded with people fighting, or making non relevant posts. I'm sure if you look at that Switchblade, you will agree that is is a land based weapon that has nothing to do with ex-military warbirds. Scott created a special subforum "military matters" just for items like yours. I'm sure if you post it there, it will get many great replies as indeed it sounds interesting (I googled it).
It's just that with all the non-relevant posts here in WIX lately, it makes it very hard sometimes to see the relevant posts. I used to look at every thread, now maybe 40% on a good day. My post wasn't meant as personal, but it is just something that has been going on for a while by many posters and makes WIX slide downhill. I hope you can understand my view.

With all the replies I was pretty sure someone had found a link to the video.

Ps. If someone doesn't like which category something is posted in, a note to a Moderator would probably work better than hashing it out in the thread.

thank you for the gesture fouga. my sole reason for posting the topic on this thread was that imho it applies or will apply to warbirds in the future. uavs / predator whatever are warbirds too imho opinion as well. ( that's another issue to duke it out with in the future) i'm not looking for apologies or a lollipop to make me feel better, but when 1 feels he's been insulted in a round about way it would kind of irk anybody. we all have our pride & knowledge on what ever topic interests us, but none of us know everything about the hobby / topic, you can throw me at the top of the heap their even after 30 + years of pursuing my passion. everytime i log on i learn something new & expect to here.

Suggestion: Rather than non-moderators trying to act as moderators, why not contact an actual moderator with your complaint to have it resolved? If the moderator agrees, they can move the thread and give guidance to the original poster as to where it should have been posted and why. This helps the original poster to comply with the rules and avoids all the pi$$ing contests between forum members.
Just click on the exclamation point to report a post. I don't think reporting a post has to be negative, it is to request assistance from a moderator only. In fact, I'm going to report myself to a moderator and we'll see the result.
