MAC 1/72 Pfalz DIII

Tue May 24, 2011 7:39 pm

:), I've just started the MAC Pfalz DIII and so far I've scratchbuilt the cockpit side wall framing and the bulkhead behind the pilot's seat. These shots show the interior unpainted and hopefully I'll get to the dbasic colour later today. Tehre is some speculation even amongst the experts on these aircraft as to what colour the interiors were, anything from varnished natural timber to a light grey, to silver-grey (silbergrau) to a colour not unlike the 1930s and 40s British interior grey-green. I've seeen a pic on the net of a replica of one of these and its interior is the grey-green colour (or almost) so that that or silver-grey will do me. Here a few pics of progress so far.

I'll post more as I get more work done.

Cheers,
Ross.

:), A long time between drinks I know but I've got some more work done on the Pfalz. The wings are painted as well as the rudder and the lower wing is attached to the fuselage. Here are some pics, I hope this works as I've been having a lot of trouble with photobucket the last few days.
