so are there any plans to get the rest of the salvageable parts left over from the crash? I heard at one time there was talk of recovering the engines etc...

the story of the Kee Bird makes me wanna cry.I followed it since I first saw a black and white photo in air classics mag in maybe the late 70's.it hit even closer to home when I found out that the Wright R-3350's turning into potting soil on the tundra of Greenland were the same ones I used to drool over at Oxman's surplus in Santa fe springs,Ca. OK who knows the legend of the Arctic Kee Bird? it sits on the cold tundra and its call is"Kee Kee,Keerist(christ) its cold! who knew this fact?
