All-
I flew Bob Fults in my Stearman for a video/still photo shoot (Jim Wilson photographer). Bob is 91 years old, instructed in Stearmans for a year and then flew R4D's during the rest of the war. He's still a great stick and a really good guy and loves to fly! We had a ball and this is just a sample of the stills and video.... maybe more later. This is my first attempt to post a photo.... crossing my fingers...

Now That Right there Is Cool! You done GOOD Gunny! My dad always wanted to fly a Stearman one more time before he passed. I think he loved flying the Stearman as much as the Mustang.

Scott,
Well done! That must have been a blast.
On another note, I see you're still defered. We're recalling at least 20 in two classes each in June and July. Any plans to return soon?
Take Care.

I'll think about coming back when I can hold Dallas.... preferably closer to a line. From everything I hear it is still pretty painful there right now<g>...

Robie

Robbie-
Both fantastic airplanes... the Stearman is much cheaper though<g>. In the Stearman you get to experience the air... feel it in your face, on your skin and in your nose, buffeting the airplane or just slipping by... sometimes thats not so good... winds the last couple of days here have been terrible and I flew over what must have been a hog farm... the smell was...... memorable...

That is one beautiful shot!
Thank you for sharing, and also thank you for taking this gentleman on a Stearman flight.
Small gestures really mean a lot.
Saludos,
Tulio
