Anyone know if Chuck Greenhills' Cosair is going to have any missing parts made up at Ezell aviation? being that thet have ALOT to work with, I thought that might be the next step in getting C.G's Corsair going. Thanks,

Chuck Greenhill owning a Corsair is news to me
Do you have an ID on the Corsair?

I am betting he is talking about the Birdcage Corsair that was pulled out of the Lake for the Navy. I believe Chuck Greenhill funded that recovery.

Not the Birdcage Corsair.

Must be another one I am not aware of. Either way Chuck Greenhill has some nice planes!

Speaking of "spare parts" for Corsairs, maybe this would be a good time for Kermit Weeks to source the items he needs to get his F4U-4 airworthy again. IIRC, it has a damaged centre section spar or something going back to the Hurricane Andrew damage.
The "Angel of Okinawa" sure was a beauty when doing an aerobatic routine at airshows.

Several years ago, Nelson Ezell was showing me around his (and Pardue's) shops/hangars when I asked about Corsairs. He has several substancial bits laying around waiting their next reincarnation. Among them was a center section.

I spoke with Tim McCarter, Chucks mechanic a few months back about our respective Corsair projects. What I can tell you is he got the Wind machine Corsair that was for sale forever on Courtesy. There was a huge story in one of the print magazines.
