Very nice!
Hope you were as lucky with the fish as you were with the cat sighting.

When I opened this one up I expected to see a Tigercat, Bearcat, or something along those lines, but a PBY is VERY nice..........

Looks like Tanker 86 is up and doing training. :)

The last SuperCat still growls. :)

Hopefully heading to Arizona where it's needed like, yesterday! With all the weather issues around the country, my 71 & overcast seems pretty reasonable-

We got skunked, not even a bite! But the day was made perfect by the cat and the Osprey's. The Osprey's didn't get anything either!

Funny you mentioned that because that was my exact thought when I heard the cat. "Oh it's just another B-25 or Tigercat"

Nice shots of the Osprey, either it's been watching all the wide receivers on the team named after him or they've been watching him give every Seattle fan an english lesson 'I'll get..I got it!.. I had it....I dropped it' :?

The Osprey is commonly known as a Seahawk, or around here, the 'can't hacks'

I recently flew a ferry flight from Glendale airport near Phonenix to Lakeland, FL. Next to the C-172 I was to fly, there was a PBY parked. When I get back home, I'll post some pics. I've always loved the cat.

For some odd reason, I always want her to be Tanker 86...never known why. Maybe Bud always called her that and it subliminally transmitted to me. I dunno...

Anyway, yes, it's N85U/Tanker 85.

Still is. She's the last working PBY firebomber in the world. The State of Washington (who'd been her sole contractor for many years) tried to sideline her in 2009 in favor of CL-214's and CL-415's, but that fell through and they ended up using her again apparently. We'll see if they ever actually find the money to outdo the old gal.
