My 2 cents - no restoration, display as it was found. Really it seems like it should fall under the war graves classification - to the families this airframe is where some of thier loved ones died (most of the crew stuck with the wreck right?)

beyond that, it would take VERY DEEP pockets to bring her back to life (so to speak)

No personnel perished onboard LBG. They all evacuated the B-24 as she was running out of fuel. As all but one of the crew parachuted to the ground (the last crew member's chute didn't open properly) Lady Be Good Flew off into the distance until her fuel was finally exhausted. She touched down unmanned and deadstick. www.LadyBeGood.com is excellant source of information.
