I very nearly added that point to my post...one can't be a Warbird enthusiast and live in Hamilton without thinking of hangar fires in this context! :( ...but I thought it'd have watered-down Walt's viewpoint if tacked onto the same post. I agree entirely that fires and the like are just as much a threat to these old birds. Walt, though, sees it differently!

Yeah, that was a real shame about the fire there years ago. There were some really great aircraft lost in that.

Well FINE THEN! I guess Ill have to make an update for myself... They may not all be Race 74, but they are all Cleveland Air Race Corsairs. Some shots from Soplata's too.

Seriously....

I can't wait to see another F2G.... I keep kicking myself because the first time I saw #57 (2003 Dayton Air Show), I didn't understand what I was looking at! I thought someone had "screwed up" a perfectly good corsair!!! I only took a couple of pictures and didn't really appreciate it!
