Typical.

You post something here, and when you are shown to be wrong -as it happens on a very regular basis- you don't publish a recognition of your errors in the same place where you messed up in the first place, but take your silly games elsewhere.

You are the one who said that Venezuela did not operate the P-47s, not me.

You were trying to make me look bad, and it blew in your face -as usual-

Saludos a la tia.

Tulio, Thanks for all the great information and pictures. Please share any new info you might get. Also, I still have the (2) Ranger engines. I heard you found some for your project but if you know anyone looking send them my way. Best Regards, Rob :D

Hi Tulio,
Has anyone investigated any of the P-47 crash sites in Cuba? An old article (80's) in Air Classics by an ex-FAC pilot mentioned that they cracked up a lot of them.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi, Rob!

I know that Steven Dennis was looking for engines, if I am not mistaken. He is also a member of the WIX so you can send him a PM.

Chris:

I have not heard from anyone that could have conducted any investigations on the P-47 crash sites in Cuba. As you may imagine, it is not an easy place to move around. Even something as simple as verifying the serial number of the Mustang on display in La Havana, has been met with refusals from the Cuban authorities.

There is a Cuban guy, Ruben Urribares, who publishes a web-page on cuban aviation and military affairs, and I will ask him. Of course, whatever I find, I will be glad to share with you, here at the WIX.

Chris: Check your PMs.

Saludos,

Tulio
