Anybody know what kind of warbird participation we may see this week aside from the CAF B-25 and the Cascade Warbird contingent?

Thought I heard/saw that AZ Wing was bringing 'Journey' and I'm fairly certain John Sessions will bring a few toys to show off, last year it was GRUMPY. I don't believe FHC will show up, they'd rather you brought your money to them @ KPAE.

I stopped going several years ago when it became the 'Big Ol' avionics and new airplane sales event' and the 'old stuff was over there somewhere'. And I was there when the DC-6 doinked the green and cream FORD van with it's mains while landing.

Not sure how the Cascade Warbird/Arlington relationship is this year but I wouldn't expect much from them. My friend will be bringing his IAR823 Friday & Saturday. I thought FHC was bringing the I-16. I'd guess something from HFF would show as well. Sentimental Journey is out with an engine issue. I believe the Tracker will be taxied over again as well.

The organizers @ NWEAA seem to be on a dedicated path to take a whizz in some groups Wheaties every year, last time it was with the warbird crowd.
Some of them must be holdovers from the Lynnwood Rotary who eventually murdered the Show @ KPAE in it's sleep several years ago.

The Cascade Warbirds (as a group) no longer support this show. FHC's I-16 is not going, but the Spitfire is supposed to be there on Saturday. I do not believe HFF is sending anything. Hope that helps!

More reasons to avoid Smokey Point Boulevard and the automotive Merry-go-Round called the parking lot  . Go to the Park in Mukilteo instead. 8) 8)
but, then again, until the State DOT figures out the goat rope @ 172nd, exit 206, I avoid that stretch of I-5 anyway :axe:

Well, that's one side of the story I suppose, but - bottom line - it's a far cry from the event it used to be.

Go to the McMinnville antique club flyin instead. :supz:

At the rate they're going, in a few years it will be held in a shopping mall parking lot like those big used car mega sales deals.
