yet another crash, QF-4 Phantom in New Mexico

Pilot ejected, aircraft a total loss.

I hope this wasn't one of the heritage painted aircraft

Well, two bits of good news- one, the pilot got out, and two, based on the wreckage in the video, it was one of the "regular" drone aircraft and not one of the Heritage birds. Still sucks to lose them, though.

Don't kid yourselves, the fancy painted birds are in the regular drone rotation, eventually they too will succumb. Some already have.
