"You have therefore been approved to claim "

: )

You have their permission to claim! Of course, after you send them the fees,
processing charges, and so on and so forth . . . : )

May I respectfully suggest that you are both cynics of the first class!

How could such a thing not be true? :o

I mean, we all know that in the day and age, you will always get something for nothing.

Go on, send in them Fees, you know you want to

If only I had one of those British dictionaries featuring all those long words like "fiduciary Agent" I'd understand how to claim my prize. Then I'd put in the full "£100,00(One hundred thousand pounds)" towards the TP-51 (Replica).

A few web resources. It's clearly turning into more of an industry than I'd thought if the FTC is putting stuff on its website:

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/intlalrt.htm
"If you play a foreign lottery-through the mail or over the telephone-you're violating federal law"

And a couple more:

Of course there is no such thing as a 'Royal' lottery in the UK, and no UK organisation would ever put 'British' in the same line as 'Royal'. Hence why we have a 'Royal Air Force' not the 'Royal British Air Force'. When you are talking about Royal organisations, 'British' is assumed. This is why we have a 'Royal Air Force' and the Ozzies have a 'Royal Australian Air Force'.
