Warbird Museum / Restoration Facilities near Baltimore/

Wed Jul 27, 2011 2:11 pm

I am visiting the inlaws next month and have some free time. Are there any restoration shops or smaller museums that I can visit during the two weeks I'm there? Any T-6 resto's going on in the area?

Best,
Patrick

Well there is the Glenn L. Martin Museum
701 Wilson Point Rd
Baltimore, MD 21220
Hangar 5, Suite 531

Phone Number: 410-682-6122
Museum Hours:
11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (except holidays),
Wednesday through Saturday

Also if you contact Col Rohr he can give you a guided tour of several little known and visited locations around the area.

Obviously you have the Smithsonian about an hour south.

Andrew,

I wasn't aware the Col. was in the area. Definitely need to make contact. I visited the Glenn Martin Museum about 5 years ago. It will be nice to see the difference since then. As for the Smithsonian, always a must see.

Thanks,
Patrick
