This forum is for discussions pertaining to Air Racing and Aerobatics of NON-Warbird aircraft. In addition this is the place to discuss General Aviation aircraft topics and yes Michael, that includes flying Lawnmowers

A little more information -
http://www.ktuu.com/news/ktuu-trapper-c ... 3647.storyAnother link says the one that returned was a single-engine Cessna amphib/floatplane. I'm pretty sure the ammunition cooking off is from hunting/survival equipment onboard and not because it's a commercial aircraft transporting ammunition. Prayers for those lost.

Very sad but where's the warbird link?

I am sorry, I just thought fellow pilots would want to know. Yes they were in a bugsmasher, but it is still a aviation loss. If the MODS feel I was wrong they can move it for me.

I'm going to move this to the general aviation section... It is sad, but probably we should only keep these kinds of threads here if they have a warbird link - like an operator that we know, etc... Forums like AOPA, Pilots of America, and a few other boards are better places for this kind of thread, and there are sadly posts about accidents nearly every day. We can do better as pilots and seem to be finding the same old way to crash as we have been for the last 60 years.
