Dear All,

Can anyone tell me who is the current owner/operator of Buno #86572 ?

I checked with the Warhawk museum and they seem to not know anything about it.

Thanks,

Tom P.

Tom,

N85972 is an FM-2 Wildcat, not a Hellcat.

It's currently registered to Tom Camp, with an address of the Warhawk Air Museum, Boise, Idaho.

It was entered by Camp at Reno last month.

Note the very historic chocks, from the late John Crocker's P-51 'Sumthin Else'.

neat plane - I assume it is based out of Idaho ? When I called the museum they seemed puzzled about even having a Wildcat in the collection - maybe I got someone new?

Thanks,

Tom P.

Tom's Wildcat is actually based at Hayward Ca and he leaves it on display at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Id. for long periods of time throughout the year. The registration is correct but Tom lives in the Bay Area and obviously likes his airplane closer to home most of the time.

Ah- thanks for the info - I was hoping it was a little closer to us - I'm already looking at the 2006 air show plans for Wendover.

Thanks again,

Tom P.
