Any books about enemy-flown captured B-17s, etc?

Sun Aug 28, 2011 4:16 am

Anyone know if there has been a book(s) written about enemy-captured/salvaged and flown Allied aircraft? I'm especially interested in information on B-17s the Germans flew shadowing our formations and reporting position and headings - hopefully with some input from Germans who actually participated in these activities.

I know the subject has been written about quite a bit, but I haven't found any books solely focused on this area.

Thanks! :drink3:

"Strangers in a Strange Land" Vol. 1, Hans Heiri Stapfer. Volume 2 covers planes that ended up in Swiss operation.

I thought there was a fairly recent book out about KG 200? Is this one recent?
