FHC Ground Attack Fly Day 8-27-11

Sun Aug 28, 2011 2:29 pm

Greg and Alan Anders made the best of some terrible air traffic controlling at Paine Field yesterday. They(ATC) kept what should've been roughly 8 consistent passes to maybe 4-5 passes with 5-10 minutes breaks in between while scattered light plane traffic and a 737 used the main runway. Anyway, here are a few shots. Had a blast with our very own Mustangdriver & Zachary in attendance as well.

It was great to see our local Tutor getting some airtime as well

It is good to see Bill fly the TUDOR since he's getting tight on engine hours left.
STC, are you coming up next Saturday for Vintage Weekend? I see Addison Pemberton will try to bring the Boeing 40C over from Spokane if the weather cooperates.

I'm definitely gonna be there next weekend. The 40C is actually supposed to be arriving today and will possibly be doing hops throughout the week.

***EDIT*** 40C won't be making it today but is still on for next weekend.

I really love that A2A shot done earlier this year of the 40 and the 787 in 'formation'

Disregard my earlier "EDIT". The 40C made it to HFF today afterall.

That A2A shot is one of my faves.

GREAT shots Al, as always!

Anybody know who the two pilots were? I assume Greg Anders flew the Spad...who flew the T-Bolt?

Thanks...

Thank you!

Greg was in the T-Bolt, Alan Anders in the Spad. It was a family affair!
