I need a.s.a.p. seven engine cylinder jugs to build a fake radial engine. They don't have to be off of a real radial engine . They can be off of just about any Continental or Lycoming horizontally opposed engine- just as long as there are seven matching cylinders. I could also use any junk spark plug cables and plugs that you have. I'm in Houston, TX, and looking to find something quick, fairly local and cheap.

Go to any shop in the area that works on small aircraft engines, if they don't have any they may be able to head you in
the correct direction.

I think I have a 7 cylinder spark plug wire harness and 7 plugs for $10. you have to pay shipping which will be more than that, due to the size of the box.
let me know if you are interested.
thanks
Jim

Could you use jugs off of VW car engines? They kinda look "airplane-ish". Probably plenty of them around Houston area.

I couldn't find anyone that had any aircraft cylinders, so I settled yesterday for several Volkswagen cylinders. I cut the heads in half so that the cylinders were no longer in pairs. I built this small 7 cylinder radial engine using a few junk parts that I had. The cylinder are a bit to small in scale, but they will do. Once I mount this on the front of the biplane mock up that I'm building out of some of the parts that I was able to save from the wildfires, I think most will not notice that these are VW cylinders. It will drive me crazy however.Image
