Bolivian T-33s

Might anyone have cockpit photos of Bolivian T-33s? I believe the front instrument panels were modified with flat panel displays. Were these mods done in Bolivia?
Thanks.

Hi Vlado,

Try contacting Kelowna Flightcraft, they did some Bolivian T-33 mods. http://www.flightcraft.ca/

The contract (valued at over $16 million) for the modification and refurbishment of the 18 T-33s, was plagued with problems; many aircraft suffered incidents and accidents on their return flight to Bolivia, and the press was having a field day with the comparisons of the original cost of each T-33 ($300,000) and the refurbishment ($750,000) per aircraft.

One of them, FAB-623, was lost during delivery, on the Pacific Ocean off South America; the reports indicate that the agreed-upon overhaul of the engines did not take place, but instead a "revision" was conducted, and the resulting limited operational life of 300 hours per machina, will see them out of service with the FAB very soon.
