I recently installed new bushings in the Griffon Fingers. I'm waiting on Roush to finish up repairs on a set of cam rails so the ID can be honed to match.
Removing original Bushings-

New Bushings on Dry ICE.

Being Pressed in-

Spitfire under Inspection-

Ballast weights in tailfin-

More ballast in the fuselage-

Flap arm which extends above the wing skin with the flaps down-

Weapon Bay, looks kinda lonely-

Wing Spar Panel, notice the silver paint. This is original where it sat on the spar.-

A while back someone asked about Spitfire part numbers. Here is the number on this panel.

It reads 39408 7 4. The 394 is the model number of the MkXVIII. 08 is the wing structure.
74 is the drawing number specific to this part.
Parts begin with the model it originally was made for. If a newer model needed it redesigned or it was created new for that model the 1st 3 digits reflect that.
The MkXVIII some parts on it labeled 300. No changes were needed on that part since the MK1 came along.
