Radial Pop Quiz

Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:52 pm

I'm currently hunting in a very small town in Montana. I noticed when I got in town the other day, a small boat store on the side of the road had this big radial sitting next to one of their buildings. I drove by this morning and snapped a quick pic. I didn't get out to look at it closer as I didn't speak to the owners first. I don't know if it's for sale. Any guesses what it went to? I might go back later and get a better look at it.

Great call!!! The plate on the cowling said P2V-7

I spoke to the owner. He worked on these engines and bought one from the owner who has these things. He even has the prop ass. He want's to put it together and put it out as a display piece.

R-3350 with low tension magnetos and PRTs. It looks like it has .4375 nose gear case.
