THAT IS GREAT!! I gotta bookmark that one for the Kiddos. A couple of years ago when the C-17s came to Wendover to do night OPS training we went out to watch - quite an impressive gig.

Working at Charleston AFB, SC, I get to see the C-17 every day. It's a pretty awesome aircraft. Coming down the runway at about 1500 ft in a line abreast formation, then doing a semi fighter break and circle to land. WOW! Even more awesome is watching about 6 of them doing assault landings up at North Field.

Thank you BDK.
I have a soft spot for all Boeing aircraft--I forget everyother plane when I see one. Too bad they're going down the drain...

Say what?!!!!
You must be reading the funny papers or something.
Even if they were to stop building them in a few years they will still be around and require support for at least another 30.
4 big fans and a stick- what could be better?!?!?!?!?!

Way cool video. I'm probably in it somewhere! I like the NVG footage of the Afghan food drops. That was a lot of fun to fly, but the pre-breathing for the high altitude drops was a pain.
