Hmmm. In comparing these two different efforts at "flying" static displays,



and...



I gotta say that I really like the "detail" of the crew in place in the second one. That's kinda' cool. If only they had gone for a minimalist support structure (more like the first one, come to think of it.) As it is, it looks like a zero-length launcher that was abandoned by its ground crew - they just walked off and left the flight crew "hanging."

I'm still working on the updated preserved Canadian Voodoo list, which I hope to have online in the next week or so.

I'm still looking for photos of some of the preserved examples, like some of the ones posted earlier in this thread. I don't have the list with me at the moment, but I'll post it tonight. (I say this because photos at some photo sharing sites don't necessarily show up in Google). All I need is a URL, as the list will link to the photo wherever it's stored now.

Additionally, I still need a update on the Voodoos at the MacChord Museum, and the former CFB Cornwallis Museum. If anyone hs been to either of these two locations recently, I'd love to hear it!

There's an F-101F at the Buffalo Naval & Servicemens Park. I believe this one was an American one though...
