They actually have the audacity to use those upgrades to the athletic facilities to sell SPLOST, and the dumb masses go for it. In reality, the voter turnouts for SPLOST votes have been pretty low, so if the local HS booster clubs can generate a good turnout from their supporters, SPLOST passes.
Not a good way to run a railroad...

It's amazing how a satirical title for a posting about the military aerial demo teams possibly being cut next year, based around the old school tax levy line about 'if the levy doesn't pass, we may have to cancel ....' and people stampeded off with it in all directions like cows in a lightning storm into all sorts of subjects that have NOTHING to do with the original statement.

yes but if everybody stayed on the straight and narrow think how boring WIX would be... you could read the whole thing in 5 minutes instead of the hours a day we can waste on here now...
I've gotten to where I read all the posts now because I just KNOW there's gonna be a catfight in there somewhere in some innocent looking thread...
