Long, long time to hang in the air UPDATE

Boeing has sent 787 ZA-006, the first one equipped with production GE genext engines on a 21+ hour non stop flight from KBFI to Bangladesh


UPDATE-ZA-006 arrived back @ KBFI @ 0520 this morning 12/08/11, after the fastest non supersonic commercial airliner circumnavigation of the world, 42 Hours 27 minutes beating a time set by an A330-2. The aircraft made one 2 hour refueling stop in Bangladesh. The GE Genext B1 engine has been granted 330 minute ETOPS (5 1/2 hours) it also established a record in a new weight class.
