It was an A-26 (not an A-20) and it was removed a few years ago.

http://www.guildclassiccars.com/faq.htm

"To just confirm my insanity, I have just acquired the old World War Two Bomber, an A 26 Invader that has sat on the Mackie Transport Company building in Oshawa Ontario for the last 26 years and on which a team of volunteers will labor for the next year or two to bring back cosmetically. When she is done she'll be dressed in all of her second war markings and sport her twenty one cannons and machine guns"

"Currently this A-26 Invader is down south, South Dakota on a US military base being restored to FLIGHTWORTHY condition, according to the Guild, the last Canadian owners."

As a kid I remember seeing it on the roof of Mackies for years.
It was always something I watched for as we camped down that way on summer holidays
A one point it suffered some fire damage also.
It was eventually sold to a friend of mine that restores classic cars and also has a couple of vintage aircraft.
Some years later he sold it the US.
It will take some doing to restore this one as it sat in weather for many years right beside a major highway. Lots of salt of the winter roads etc won't have help it either
Still it would be great to hear she is flying again some day.

What's going on with it now? Anyone restoring it or has it been left to rot away?

The US buyers were based out of South Dakota
David states that it was a fairly lowtime airframe and the buyer wanted it really bad.
He could not recall the name of the person he dealt with but that person was representing a group that was doing the actual purchase.

Hope this helps
