Do you mean along the lines of one F.G. Powers and his little 'OOPS!' or the U.S.S. Pueblo 'never happened' until it did, and no one yet has compleletly answered about the U.S.S. Liberty and it's Med cruise BOO-BOO.

Has any other network besides Faux Noise confirmed that the drone is real? I don't buy into anything that Rupert's network spits out... Nothing!!!

The use of a self destruct system like a bomb is impractical.
I would like to point out the case of the exploding whale http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_whale
Bombs cant make matter disappear. the remaining parts would still be valuable for reverse engineering.
and emp is more likely.
one thing you have to remember about China is they are becoming a world leader in science.
more and more original high level research papers are being published by the university of Beijing every year.
The laws of Physics are the same for every defense department. The key thing people should consider is: was loosing
